July 1, 200422 yr You can now collapse a category or even multiple categories at once. For instance if you do not use the Community Categories (Entertainment, Off-Topic,etc) much and want to save screen real estate you can simply make 1 click on the minus sign link on the upper right of each category and make the category collapse into itself. To uncollapse, click the plus sign link that will show instead of the minus sign. Below are pictures of an uncollapsed Main category and a picture of a collapsed Main category to ease you in understanding how this works.
