July 2, 200422 yr Do we have one person in charge of farm system pitching development? We keep regurgitating our pitchers. Called-up, sent-down, called-back-up, sent-back-down, etc. Does the FO (and Jack?) just talk with individual team managers? Is the guy (I'm sure there is one) in charge of all Minors personnel development the primary contact guy? (And who is he now?) Who is responsible for bringing Manzanillo up? (Cudos!) Who is responsible for throwing Tejera to the wolves? Do we have a Master Teacher that can help with re-trainables like Koch? I do follow the farm more than most fans but I now realize how ignorant I am about the "care and feeding of critical arms." Probably could use a Staff Shrink, too. If not for when they get there, then for what happens to them.
