RHP Josh Beckett was put back on the DL after a chunk of skin tore off his right middle finger. "We need to see a blister specialist, that's what we need to do. This is ridiculous," third baseman Mike Lowell said after Beckett was put on the DL for the third time this season and for the fifth time in his career because of a blister issue on his finger. "I can't believe his finger is different from every other person in the major leagues that (he) can't overcome a blister problems. It rips right off. We've got to do something because we tax our bullpen, we've got to find another starter and we've got to wait 15 more days until he comes back and then we don't know what's going to happen."
