July 27, 200422 yr Virginia's electoral votes have not gone to a Democrat since 1964. John Kerry thinks he's got a shot here, he's doing some heavy campaigning. There's a lot of military installations in my area, and he thinks his military "background" will help him win the state. Bill Clinton didn't even bother to spend a dime here in his reelection campaign. Any other Virginians or political analyists think he has a shot at this state? The Old Dominion is pretty Republican. I don't know John... that's some wasted money in my opinion.
