August 2, 200422 yr Heat to play 33 nationally-televised games By STEPHEN F. HOLDER sholder@herald.com The Heat will be one of the NBA's showcase teams this season, evidenced by the makeup of this year's schedule. Miami's franchise-record 33 nationally-televised games will be highlighted by a Christmas Day matchup against the Lakers in Los Angeles, the first meeting between Shaquille O'Neal and his former team. It's just the second time Miami has played on Christmas Day, with this game set to be shown nationally on ABC. The season gets underway Nov. 3 at New Jersey, in a game televised on ESPN. One night later, O'Neal makes his regular-season debut at AmericanAirlines Arena when LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers come calling. Now that the schedule has been released, single-game tickets will go on sale soon, according to the team. http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/news/...ews/9303344.htm
