August 5, 200422 yr ...sanity around here! Look. You want to know why this team cant win? Because they are forcing the issue. This team is playing not to lose instead of playing to win. That is the big difference between this year and last year. We were so far out of it last year that we had no where to go but up. This team should look at it the same way. Dont just expect to win. Play the game to have fun. Play loose! The talent is there - but that is the problem. These guys dont have fun anymore. They are all business. Loosen up and play like you dont have a chance. Kill the season and finish strong. Just have fun and the winning will come back. This team is trying too damn hard. Jack aint making it any easier either.
August 5, 200422 yr See Phillies games as examples how to win. The team played to win, were only down for a half inning in four games. They had that confidence that they could do it and they got the job done. Now only if they could do the same against the rest of the teams

August 5, 200422 yr I agree with you guys, but the fact of the matter is that we're in August, we have all the tools needed to succeed, and we're playing like pussies....that's why we're all so pissed, and that's why Jack isn't "having fun".
