September 3, 200421 yr After enduring the worst two weeks of his political career something has apparently woke up inside John Kerry and starting tonight at midnight with him and The Edwards Family will begin their two day tour of Ohio. His opening statement tonight when the clock strikes midnight "I will not let my military record be smeared by men who refused to go to war and who mislead this country". Did someone punch him in the gut? As Tim Russert just said Starting at midnight we very well are seeing the wakeup of John Kerry like we saw in Iowa and The Primarys. Where he stood by and took the attacks and then woke up, defended himself and virtually swept a campaign. After being pressured by his party to wake up and defend himself, it appears he has begun to answer that. Those are damn powerful statements by Senator Kerry taking a shot at The Giuliani, Rove, and Mccain attacks and then going after Bush(you know the attacks against him that actually stuck with more than just the right). If this is the fire that he had when he pillaged through the primaries, Kerry is a strong canidate and a tough canidate to beat. Zell Miller has reawoke the quiet democrats who sat and watched their canidate smeared and remained mostly quiet, starting tomorrow night they see a man who was unbeatable when he was on and very well could be on again. Smear me if you want but that statement has made my day. :thumbup
September 3, 200421 yr Author I also forgot to add this as well, Ohio is also a state that tomorrow will be taking a huge hit in the employment numbers as Chrystler/GM is cutting a large # of jobs in Ohio and Michigan.
September 3, 200421 yr Rune, I hope you are right. Kerry has a reputation for being ferocious in the late stretch and not just because of the primaries. This is his ultimate test mainly because of how important this is for his supporters.

The first two nights were powerful but have been squashed by Miller's speech last night which basically eliminated any bounce from the first two nights as the early polls are showing.
