Posted September 4, 200420 yr In Saturday's Herald which I recieved a couple of hours ago. I don't know if this is news to anybody but it makes a lot of sense.
September 4, 200420 yr Why don't the Cubs and Expos move Monday's game to Thursday? That way you an play atleast 2 here, possibly all 3 if the Cubs and Marlins can get here by Sunday.

September 4, 200420 yr Well, sorreee.. http://www.marlinbaseball.com/forums/index...ndpost&p=536655 Makes too much sense to be implemented. - Much easier to move a game back than it is ahead. - Fans in South Florida and Chicago who had tickets wouldn't be too inconvienced (esp. now that Frances is looking less and less like a major threat). - Air traffic along the Atlantic coast could be open by late Saturday night. - Sunday's game is on PAX so if the game is moved to the evening, ESPN can keep their nationwide broadcast rights as the game wasn't going to be on Extra Innings anyway.
September 4, 200420 yr i knoe these changes mess up my marlins calendar on my fridge so its useless. but it makes sense, moving it up to Thursday.
