July 4, 200323 yr W L ERA G IP H R ER BB SO Ungs, Nic 7 3 1.86 17 106.1 87 24 22 13 78 *He's looking good and I guess once one of the AA starters is released or promoted to AAA he will be promoted. Impressive BB/K ratio...in comparison Craig House has 12 BB's in 8 IP...one less then Nic has in 106IP. lol. W L ERA G SV IP H ER BB SO Cave, Kevin 1 1 1.27 31 18 35.1 26 5 8 40 *Any info one this guys stuff Edcanes? Nice K/BB ratio...potential closer? *Ron Belizario, in his first start since being promoted to Jupiter went 7IP, gave up 3 hits and walked 1 while striking out 7. Any info on his stuff Ed??! W L S ERA G IP H ER C House 0 0 0 5.91 8 10.2 12 7 *Still looks like a project..also has 12BB's, one hit batter and 3 wild pitches...and 8K's. Maybe he needs to go down to AA to work on his control, but hes 25. *Jason Grilli's first start for AAA he went 5IP gave up 3 hits, 5 BB's, 4ER on a grand slam...with 3K's...looks like walks killed him because he only gave up 3 hits. Looks like Sanders will get the call before Grilli...Sanders ERA has risen about a point to 3.50 since we last talked about him...
July 4, 200323 yr Author Do you know anything about Kevin Cave or Nic Ungs stuff or if they might be promoted?? Ungs is a pitcher. What I mean is he doesn't hard and just hits the corners. A Kevin Olsen clone. He's a former college pitcher so he's a little more mature than his fellow teamates. Cave stuff is good a future closer. He has really turn it up to another level this season for Jupiter. I could see him in Carolina(AA) before the end of the season From Edcanes...Ungs K/BB ratio gives me a woody though. :w00t
