November 2, 200421 yr Sorry for the corny rant but today I've felt the most patriotic I've ever felt since 9/11. Today, the country came together as one. They came together to support two very different canidates and were sharply divided yet came together in record numbers to take part in the system that makes us the greatest nation in all the lands. Today, Hispanics, African Americans, and The Younger Voter rose up after being casted into a group of those who didn't care. Today they rose up and made their precence felt and put their voice out there for the nation to see for the first time in awhile. Today, the group who supported the president in 2000, once again came out big to voice their support for the man they believed in, in 2000 and yet again in 2004. America reaffirmed my belief, that we do care and when put up to the task... We can deliver. So however this election comes out and if it gets ugly, I raise a toast to the greatest system in the world. It may be corny but after today, it's exactly how I feel.
