November 3, 200421 yr What happened to the exit polls? I was taking a s*** last night watching some of the exit polls come out. Kerry looked like he was going to win this election. The polls had many states that Bush should have run handily being very close. That was one of the reasons VIR and SC were not called earlier. I have noticed a trend that most polls underrepresent the Republican vote. They did the same thing in 2002 and you also include 2000. Thoughts?
November 3, 200421 yr Apparently they polled too many women at the start. Something like 58% of exit polls were taken by women.
November 3, 200421 yr They only had Kerry winning by 3 or 4 points. Bush only won Florida and Ohio by 1-2 points. That is inside the error margin, so you can't say the polls are wrong for the most part.
November 3, 200421 yr Not to mention Zogby has to clean all that egg off his face for predicting Kerry would win so proudly like he had no doubts.
