November 10, 200421 yr http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/sto...y/International Baghdad -- Two members of the Iraqi Prime Minister's family were abducted from their Baghdad home, his spokesman said Wednesday, and militants said they would be beheaded in two days if their demands are not met. Interim government spokesman Thair al-Naqeeb said in a statement that militants had snatched interim Prime Minister Ayad Allawi's two relatives from their home in the western Yarmouk neighborhood Tuesday evening. Mr. Al-Naqeeb identified the missing as the prime minister's cousin, Ghazi Allawi, and the cousin's daughter-in-law. "Ghazi Allawi is 75 years old. He has no political affiliation, and is not holding a government post," the statement said.
