Former Panamanian dictator Manuel Noriega is at Kendall Regional Hospital today, recovering from a mild stroke.

 

 

Doctors said Noriega did not suffer any neurological damage and he will soon be well enough to return to prison.

 

 

Noriega was overthrown and captured by U.S. forces in 1989 and has been imprisoned in Florida since 1992 after his conviction for drug trafficking.
