July 12, 200323 yr *Marlins outrighted right-handed reliever Allen Levrault. Levrault has not pitched poorly, going 1-0 with a 3.86 ERA in 28 innings, but somebody had to go to make room for Ugueth Urbina. With so many teams looking for relief help, Levrault is bound to catch on somewhere. Source: Miami Herald -I agree with this move although many of you will not. His WHIP was well over two indicating a large amount of luck held his ERA down...he almost loaded the bases every inning...Jack realized he didnt have it so he didnt play since the Boston series. *The reason Dontrelle Willis is taking Josh Beckett's start on Sunday is that Beckett once again has a blister. The blister is in the same area -- the right middle finger -- that landed Beckett on the DL three times last season. Beckett was none too happy about being skipped, saying: ''I'm the only guy in the league who is perfectly fine and they won't let pitch.'' Source: Miami Herald -Nice to see we are being EXTREMELY careful with Josh...but Id rather him start because of the ASB coming up. *Alex Gonzalez is expected to be held out of tonight's game with a strained left hamstring. Gonzalez is day-to-day. Source: Miami Herald -Probably for the better...we will miss his defense big time though...its game changing sometimes... c/o rotoworld.com
