Hey all im a dedicated Blue Jays fan..saying congrats for you guys for getting Delgado. J.P. made a joke for re-signing carlos, only offering him 6mil a season

but its finally cool the owner Ted Rogers increased the Jays payroll so we can hopefully compete with those hated yanks..If only he did it 3 months earlier,we could have kept Delgado but eh..Its better late then never, there are rumors going around saying were in the hunt for Ordonez now but we really wont make the playoffs till atleast 06,07 so we should save the money to sign players like Hampton,Hudson,etc..but just wanted to say congrats for you guys getting Delgado..he was one heck of a player here in Toronto

Didn't you guys grab Hillenbrand and Koskie, there was interesting article in Sports Weekley how they were better off with Koskie and Hilenbran for that money then with Delgado. Rotation needs one more horse

Halloday, Lilly Buatista, ? I don't know about Schoeneweis, Your right though in a few years they'll compete.

Forgot about Bush, hope he can develop, for some reason I always pull for Toranto and TB in the AL East

yep we have Hillenbrand and Koskie (canadian player) both can hit atleast 20 home runs, plus we have Vernon wells who can hit 30 home runs when he is healthy, last season he was pretty much injured.

our rotation will be:

Halladay

Lilly

Hentgen

Towers

Bush

Batista last year was our closer but since we have Koch back..he will probably be our closer

Bush is an amazing pitcher....I remember when he shut out the yankees 7-0 and the yanks were using most of there star players...we have a good prospect in Bush :thumbup

Why wouldnt Bautista start over Hentgan, by the way what do you think about Frasor closing for the whole year, and what was up with Aquilino Lopez starting off last year as closer, on paper at least?

Bautista he had a horrible time being a starter pitcher here, thats why he was sent to the bullpen to relief/or be closer.

we have a pretty weak bullpen so we had to try different things to try and spark the players, but obviously that didnt work. Hopefully JP uses that money for bullpen help cause we have enough offense, just need the pitching

2B Orlando Hudson S

LF Frank Catalanatto L

CF Vernon Wells R

3B Corey Koskie L

DH Shea Hillenbrand R

RF Alexis Rios R

C Greg Myers L

1B Eric Hinske L

SS Russ Adams L

hopefully Hinske could get back to his rookie form this year, if he doesnt....he will be traded

Oh, because he had a great season in 2003, 70 some odd innings a 3.42 for a Rookie (even thought he was 28) was great, but now hes gone after a bad following year so i was just wondering what happened thanks

yea he had a good rookie year but last year was pathetic....hopefully he steps it up this year but he might be starting down in AAA

Dodgers signed RHP Aquilino Lopez to a minor league contract and invited him to spring training.

Lopez was a bust in 2004, but he was still one of the best minor league free agents available. His slider makes him tough on righties, so even if he doesn't win a bullpen spot out of spring training, he'll help the Dodgers at some point.

Go on Rotoworld when you want to know info about a player theres a player search, go to previous news they have all the news concerning that player, more elaberate than ESPN.
