Samson's comments on New Ballpark

Featured Replies

Samson mentioned there would be a section of the stadium that resembles old time stadiums with cheap seats, and bleachers, a real party area.

He said more than once that they wanted to make sure everyone who wanted to attend could afford it. "If you can afford to go to the movies, then you can go to a Marlins game."

Samson was quite adamant that the Marlins intend to complete the stadium and stay in Miami for the next 30-40 years. He was optimistic that he would get all of the local approvals and was confident the House and Senate would grant approval as well.
