March 10, 200521 yr My girlfriend just bought me a set of Ram G-Force golf clubs. I know they arent the best..not cheap either. Ive played a few times but with borrowed clubs. These a good set to have?
March 10, 200521 yr They're above average. Definitely not bad. But above average. To get some good clubs at a cheap price, Tommy Armour and Wilson (SOME Wilson sets) are very good. The best are without question Mizuno, Titleist, and Taylor Made. Nike, Ping, and Callaway are both pure CRAP.
March 10, 200521 yr They are pretty good clubs I'll have to agree with Phlub...some Wilson sets are pretty awesome What do you usually shoot
March 10, 200521 yr Author Thanks guys. Good to know they are solid. Im actually pretty new in the sense that I dont go regularly. Ive gone with friends maybe 10 times and have shared clubs. Im not one of those people that just embarrasess themselves. I can drive the ball and get it on the green...eventually. I cant say what Ive shot because I usually lose track after the 7th or 8th hole. :lol But now that Ive got my own set, Im gonna hit the driving range as much as possible and try and be able to answer that question.
March 10, 200521 yr I am a golfer. Haven't gone in a while though cause I haven't had time. But I started last year and within 9 months I was driving the ball almost 250 yards. You can even ask LCastillo.
March 10, 200521 yr Golf is the greatest and most frustrating sport in the history of the world. Some days will be playing awesome and others its awful. I worked at a course for three years my sophomore-senior year of high school and played pretty close to every day. Got kind of consistent. Never actually good. My handicap was around a 10-11 when I quit the job. Miss playing it so often as many times it relaxed me when I was stressed out. At least the gf works at one now so can go play every once in a while. And Elon's driving range is opening ina couple weeks so excited about that.

March 10, 200521 yr Author I loved going with my buddies. Nothing beats a day at the golf course shooting the s*** and hitting some balls.
