March 22, 200521 yr Fatalities In Red Lake School Shooting Video: Caroline Lowe reports. Mar 21, 2005 9:48 pm US/Central Minneapolis (WCCO) The FBI is investigating a deadly school shooting on the Red Lake Indian Reservation. CBS radio has reported that 18 people were shot and six people are dead in the afternoon shooting at Red Lake High School on the reservation according to a local fire chief. Rebecca Trylch, a reporter from the Lakeland Public TV said hundreds of people were outside the hospital waiting for information. Two area hospitals are reportedly helping the wounded victims. The Red Lake Reservation is 240 miles north of the Twin Cities. This is the second school shooting in Minnesota in recent years. Two students were killed in a September 2003 shooting at Rocori High School in central Minnesota. Jason McLaughlin is awaiting trial in the case.
