Dolphins Sell 14,000 Tickets On Saturday; Three Games Declared Sellouts

July 19, 2003

The Miami Dolphins sold more than 14,000 individual game tickets on Saturday, the first day that single-game tickets for all 2003 home games at Pro Player Stadium went on sale. In addition, the club sold more than 300 season tickets through a Select-A-Seat, which was held in conjunction with the on-sale event at Pro Player Stadium.

During the first day of sales, the Dolphins sold out games against the New England Patriots (October 19), Philadelphia Eagles (December 15) and New York Jets (December 28). The only way fans can now secure tickets for any of those three contests is through season tickets.

?We?re extremely happy with our ticket sales for the first day,? said Dolphins Senior Vice President-Operations Bill Galante. ?I believe the three sell-outs are indicative of the demand that there will be for Dolphins tickets this year. This also shows that our fans are eagerly anticipating the start of the 2003 season.?

Season tickets remain on sale and can be purchased by cash, check, money order or credit card. Season tickets are discounted $80.00 off the individual ticket price. All season ticket holders are given the option to purchase season parking at Pro Player Stadium for $160.00, a $40.00 savings off gameday parking.
