He's running hard and actually appears to have an approach at the plate. I know that sounds like nothing, but half the team appears to just be hacking at the plate and half a**ing it in the field.

and sitting him 3 game hurts this team more than it helps it.

 

he also looks like he has a slight limp so atleast a game off could help that regard

Why? What has his bat done? Take away the first game against Washington and he can't hit for crack. At this point, Niner for two or three games would be good for the team.
