Housekeeping personnel at the Globe Hotel in Topsham had witnessed a few items going missing over the years, but this was by far the biggest and most expensive. The guests had even turned off the water so the shower could be removed without making a mess. The owner of the hotel, Liz Hodges, is livid, and says it?ll cost her more than ?300 to replace the stolen fixtures. An elderly couple who paid cash for their stay, are been sought by Devon and Cornwall Police who confirm it was a very unusual theft, considering the time and trouble to dismantle the apparatus from the wall.
