May 22, 200521 yr Is there a reason that the Marlins are not putting him on the DL? Not enough room? I know Mota, Alfonseca, and Valdez are on the DL. Mota threw 40 pitches the other day, if/when he comes back do you guys think Castillo will go to the DL?
May 23, 200521 yr Jack thought he was going to be back soon, but Castillo wanted to be a bit more cautious. Easley has stepped in admirably and it hasn't become much of an issue.
May 23, 200521 yr I say keep him out until he is completely healthy. We are still in May and I'd rather him get the injury bug out of the way now rather than in early and mid September when we are trying to make a playoff run.

May 23, 200521 yr Author Yeah I also agree, if he comes back soon, it would be worse off. I have to admit this was a two part question. I was hoping you guys would know, for info for the team, and for my fantasy team also. Since he is not on the DL, I can't pick someone up in his place, and he just sits on my bench. THe three Marlins I have are: Castillo, Burnett, and Cabrera... I hope he's back healthy, before soon!
