May 25, 200521 yr The House voted in favor today of lifting the ban on federal funding for embryonic stem-cell research. However, the President has said in the past that he is against any federal involvement in this, and reportedly plans to veto the bill.
May 25, 200521 yr I am not morally against stem cell research, but why the hell does the govt need to use our money to fund it? Legalize stem cell research and let private companies use their own money for research, the same way they do for several other medical procedures.
