On my way to work every morning i listen to The paul and ron show on 105.9 and every week they have niner call in to talk about the Marlins, today paul asked niner if he thinks Robinson should be fired and he said noway that B.Robinson is great and the players love him as the hitting coach and that the problem is not the hitting coach it''s the players themselves. he says that Robinson does a great job teaking there mechanics it's just the players aren't executing. Also niner said that he doesn't think Lowell's slump will end soon cause it has gotten way to much into his head.

If its gotten way to into his head he needs to go. :thumbup

How was the question posed? When in the interview? Did it seem Niner had any knowledge it was going to be asked?

Regardless, Jeff is a team player. He'll stick up for every Marlin. That's a good thing.

Ha! It makes me wonder if Paul reads the boards. :p

Anyway, I feel so bad Mikey. He needs to get that crap out of his head now.

I mean Mikey is a FAN favorite for us all down here in South Florida, but the way he is playing is really affecting us. Im sorry but we need to replace him and let him go or sit him down for a while.

Sometimes I wonder where you got all your baseball knowledge from. Wherever it might have been, some people need to ask for a refund. Slumps are part of baseball... dammit!!! Stop asking for Lowell's head!!! He will come out of it...

argh!!! what a waste of time....

I know slumps are a part of baseball. All Im saying if this continues he needs to go because it is affecting the team. He needs to contribute offensively and if he isn't we need to bring someone else in. Again yes slumps are a part of baseball, but when it lasts extremely long someone needs to take action and I assume Loria will take action if Mike continues to hit the way he is.

conine is too classy to call out robinson publicly. if what he says it's true, and the players do stick up for him, they should back him up by hitting.

as for lowell - that is discouraging to hear, even if he has raised his average recently. maybe he should start hanging out with ricky williams.

I don't believe him.

Last year a coach was let go inside the Marlin organization because the Hispanic hitters (and Juan Pierre) trusted him more than Robinson and went to him for advice. But now all of sudden, they have faith in him again? I doubt it.

Wasn't all this love shown for a former pitching coach we had that would always cross is hand very tightly when speaking with pitchers?
