If you want to venture to Hialeah, go to Champs Outlet on 49th street. Lots of Marlins t-shirts for $4.99! I got a LoMo shirt. They also have Reyes, Stanton, Guillen, Buehrle, and Bell (ugh) shirts.

Buehrle does have a reputation as a very honest person, so if he says that someone in the Marlins FO verbally "promised" him he wouldn't be traded, it may very well be true. However ... unless we hear a recorded conversation between them or a stenographer happened to be in the negotiations, we can't confirm this. I wouldn't put it past Samson or Loria to do that, though, in order to get what they wanted in Buehrle signing. Yea, he doesn't seem like the type to talk crap for the heck of it. I don't blame him for being upset.

Except that I hated group projects in college because I always like doing things on my own like that. I am not the trusting kind when it comes to my grades. I almost got screwed over once when my group was a bunch of slackers. The day of the presentation, they made us look completely lost while I did everything I could for my part. One chic literally made up her own math problem and couldn't even figure it out while presenting. Facepalm. I complained and the prof gave me a shot to do it over again individually. Got my A. Best group project though was for my art class at FIU where we made puppets for a puppet show. My puppet was Nemo. They are all hugging in this pic. lol

After the game, go down to the third base parking garage and hang out outside. Players start to come out of the ballpark usually around 30 - 45 minutes after the game is over. Some stop to sign and some don't. I guess it depends on their mood that day.

I know he needs to be gone, but I caught a Carlos Lee homerun about 10 or 11 years a go at Turner Field when he was with Chicago. If he still plays for us on Wednesday night, that ball will be getting signed. That would be awesome!
