Gators vs Tejas

Featured Replies

Texas' team ERA was around 1 for the entire CWS. Their bats came alive and hit for a lot of power. They were just in a zone, not much you can do against that. Plus, with Alan Horne out, the pitching depth really took a hit. If Boss doesn't have to throw those 5+ innings against ASU, he could've pitched last night...the chances would've been a lot better.

The Gators are a young team, there are 4 big losses as seniors: Corsaletti, Falkenbach, Boss, and Pete. The pitching may be a liability next year, but O'Day will be back, Horne will be back, and Ball will be back. LaPorta will have one more year experience next year (he's already scary) and guys like Davis, McArthur and Leclerc will be solid.

This program is on the way up.
