butchy
saw him pitch today. He went 4 innings giving up 3 hits 2 runs 1walk and 5k's. The hits were of the cheap variety. One was an infield hit and the other 2 were the result of a very HARD infield with the ball bouncing over the third basemans head. His fastball hit 92 and he had a greta curveball as well. We won 15-5. Everyone hit well so I wont single anyone out. Notes: Brett Hayes (our 2S pick from the U of Nevada) caught Volstad. He caught a great game and got himself a couple of hits as well. I think he's in the GCL rehabbing from a small injury, Ryan Tucker (our 1S pick from HS) pitched one inning yesterday and I was told he hit 95 on the radar gun more than once Nate Messner, on a hard play at the plate, knocked the Mets catcher out of the game (literally) . The Mets catcher was taken to the hospital with at least a broken nose. These baby Marlins play tough!!!

Accord
Wow, they don't even play in Roger Dean, they gotta play on the practice fields? I thought they'd at least play in a really low-rent minor league stadium.
