Even though we lost, it was a productive loss because we played our hearts out. You could see Delgado hustling defensively at 1B or how fired up Lowell looked at the plate. Even though these guys make millions, you know they aren't in it for the paycheck but because they love the game so much. And what can I say about Al Leiter, he is definitely working on finding the strike zone during his off days. That and the slider Nate Bump worked on in AAA are really strong points for the second half of the season. This team will bounce back and make the playoffs.
