Posted July 14, 200519 yr Rotoworld: Rockies acquired outfielder Eric Byrnes and infielder Omar Quintanilla from the Athletics for LHP Joe Kennedy and RHP Jay Witasick. Mixed leaguers should go ahead and grab Byrnes now. He's not a very good regular since he struggles against righties and is overrated defensively, but the Rockies will surely use him as an everyday player and hope that Coors Field helps him out. It wouldn't be much of a surprise if he's put right into the cleanup spot. Jul. 13 - 11:10 pm et I guess that fills the hole left by the Wilson to WAS deal.
