He must have put on a good 10-15lbs of muscle in the offseason because he looked a bit bigger. His throws were accurate as hell and he had some zip on them. The combo of Chambers and Thompson will prove to be a good one too. Thompson looked especially good catching EVERYTHING thrown at him and getting good separation from the defenders. (and yes, we're talking Titan's #1 squad) There was this kid named Sam Simmons (I think) that also stood out on the receiving corp. There really isn't much depth at RB though. After Ricky, it seemed to taper off quite a bit. They also have another great looking young TE that they picked up in the draft this year. Can't remember his name, but man, he was a load to bring down and he made some athletic catches for a TE. Griese didn't impress me much. Seemed to force a lot of things and was WAY off target on a couple of throws. Sage Rosenfeld(sp) looked "ok." Anyway, just wanted to add my take on what I saw of this year's competition, in the early stages. Guess we'll see what they bring to the game this year. PS. their first team defense, one word "SCARY!"
August 5, 200322 yr Minus, wheres the link to the Bills fans actual post or review? Thats only practice. Don't get your g-string's in a bundle. So they looked good, take it with a grain of salt. The Packers D looked pretty good last night but its only pre-season.
