July 29, 200521 yr New Terry Gilliam flick coming out soon with Matt Damon and Heath Ledger. Besdies the cast looking lame, I'm a big fan of the Python movies, The Fisher King, Twelve Monkeys and Fear and Loathing so I'm definitely seeing this flick. It looks a little more mainstream than most Gilliam flicks (I'd compare it's look to Tim Burton's "Sleepy Hollow"). Also, my friend from LA screens flicks and claims the audience didn't like the ending so it was changed (BOO!). Personally, I hate it when an audience changes the ending to a movie and thus somehow distorts the director/screenwriter's vision. I think a look at many of our DVD/CD collections would prove many of us walk to the beat of our own drummer. That being said, I've seen the trailer a few times and am still pumped (plus the real ending will come out on the DVD anyways, roight? Roight!).
