Senate Rivals tackle Bush on climate

Here is an article I ran across on MSNBC. I wish I had come across it earlier, but it is not that dated.

Perhaps the utter raping President Bush has exhibited on the environment will be concluded as a result of this.

I would have linked the entire article, but there are good graphics on the site that are important to understanding the issue.

I will include a quote from the sidebar.

?This amendment will be a full-fledged debate about climate. Lots of members (of Congress) have been hiding on this issue. Now they have to take a position.?

? DAVID DONIGER

Natural Resources Defense Council

The same is true of the majority of Americans, including those on this board. Its time to take a public position.

The climate change seems to be real. We have record temperatures here in Europe for weeks now and there is no ending seen yet. Even in Britain, it doesn't rain :cool . THAT's a reason to be afraid. In South Europe (Portugal, Spain & Italy), the forests burn. Isn't too good.

we have more than 38?C (100?F) here in Germany. that's not normal. but honestly said, I like that........., driking a cold beer :cheers .

while most of the modern world has accepted the fact that global warming exists and are looking at figuring out a solution.

the idiots in washington are still trying to determine if it even exists.

9 out of 10 scientists who have studied the climate agree that it exists to various degrees.

Its all about the money bub. Especially with this adminstration.
