Jets sign Ty Law

Law isn't the same player he was, not say he isn't good, but he's an injury prone and aging CB.

I'll agree with you and say that he wasnt where he was maybe 4 years ago, but he should still be good. It makes the Jets a better team now after the signing.

They're still mediocre without a RT, DT, and Abraham pissing and moaning. The offense will be putrid and the defense won't be able to stop the run.

What are you talking about?

They lost Ferguson on defense who can be replaced. Losing one player doesnt mean you cant stop the run.

Adrian Jones, who is the new RT, its looking really good. I dont think its going to be a problem.

how do you jets fans think pennington is going to fair this year?

893481[/snapback]

He should be pretty good. I know he is comming off surgery, but in a few weeks he will be just fine. In the practice vs the giants, he went like 11 for 12 or something like that in a 7 on 7 drill. So he should be back to normal before the season starts. The new offensive coordinator should help out alot because the jets will be throwing down field this year. The addition of Coles will also help, because when they were together 2 years ago he was Penningtons favorite reciever

You replaced him with Lance Legree. That's quite a stepdown.

It might not be him, it might be rookie Sione Pouha. Losing one defensive tackle is not the end of the world. The Dline will still be very good with Ellis, Abraham and Robertson. The defense in general should be better than last years.

Moss >>>>> Toeveranues

you obviously really dont like the jets

Moss is a good reciever, but Coles is better, but not by much. Take a look at the stats if you want.

Coles is also older, makes an ass load more money and has an arthritic toe.

Moss is just entering his prime, is already putting very simlar numbers to Coles, and is a much better deep threat.

Coles is 27 and turning 28 at years end, and moss is 26.

Coles hasnt missed a start in 4 years
