The Pro Football Hall of Fame is coming to South Florida.

Well, at least a portion of the Canton, Ohio, attraction will make its home at Dolphins Stadium for a week in late October.

The Hall is lending the club the busts of the nine Dolphins in the Hall so they, along with other Miami-related Hall exhibits and local memorabilia, can be on display in the days leading to the team's Oct. 23 game against Kansas City.

The Dolphins are celebrating their 40th anniversary and plan to honor quarterback Dan Marino's induction into the Hall this year. The celebration will happen primarily during that game.

The original Hall of Fame busts for Marino, coach Don Shula, linebacker Nick Buoniconti, fullback Admin Csonka, quarterback Bob Griese, center Jim Langer, guard Admin Little, center Dwight Stephenson and receiver Paul Warfield will be the centerpieces of that celebration.

Aside from the temporary visit by the Hall busts, the team is planning a permanent museum at Dolphins Stadium filled with club memorabilia and exhibits.
