September 30, 200521 yr My friend does this weekly TGIF trivia (ABC TGIF), and I'm having a lot of trouble with this week's question. Anybody have an answer for the following question: TGIF Trivia: Happy Friday Folks! Can you name the TGIF character that was a professional athlete? What team did he or she play for?
September 30, 200521 yr Mark Cooper, Golden St. Warriors I was there when they filmed that episode...Mark Curry (as Mark Cooper) actually played an exhibition game with the Warriors for clips for that episode, it was at Harmon Gymnasium in Berkeley against the Phoenix Suns (it was a number retirement thing for Kevin Johnson)...I also remember him doing some thing on the court with Charles Barkley after the game although I don't think the show was on TGIF at the time
