  1. Look at all of those f***ing seagulls. Fuck those seagulls... i got shit on by one them....
  2. Barry f***ing Zito... all those years he pitched like sh*t for us... comes through when we need him the most.... if we win the next two games, he'll have been worth every single penny of the $126 million we gave him
  3. Yeah, it was over after Game 2 of the NLDS, too, wasn't it? difference is the Cardinals don't have Dusty Baker managing them...
  4. well giants season is over :banghead :banghead :banghead
  5. Me before game 1 of the NLDS: we gotta win both games at home...there's no way we take 2 out of 3 in Cincy...I'm glad to be wrong This is already one of the most epic post-seasons of all time...after that amazing first round, the LCS and World Series matchups are epic just for historical reasons... you have the three most storied franchises in baseball history (and the Tigers history isn't too shabby itself) as well as the last three World Series champions... first time in 22 years that all four teams in the LCS are from the original 16 franchises... Giants and Cardinals, two franchises that go back 130 years, are currently tied with the Dodgers for second most World Series appearances, and it's the first time in 54 years where the previous two champions faced off in the post-season Any possible World Series matchup would be amazing... Yankees vs. Cardinals or Yankees vs. Giants is as marquee of a World Series matchup as it gets...Yankees and Cardinals would be between the two teams with the most champions... Yankees- Giants would renew an old rivalry from the NY Giant days, as these two teams have faced off 7 times in the World Series, but not since 1962...you would have the team with the most championships vs. the team with the most hall of famers, most wins, most NL championships, etc...Tigers and Cardinals have already faced off three times in the World Series, including the last time the Tigers made it in 2006 (it's interesting that 7 out of the 10 Tigers world series appearances have come against either the Cards or the Cubs)...Giants and Tigers would be the first time the two league MVPs (even though Trout deserves it over Cabrera) faced off in the world series in 24 years, and the Tigers are one of only two original American League teams (along with the Browns/ Orioles) not to have faced the Giants in the World Series To think I had completely washed my hands of this post-season a week ago...then the Giants staged that epic comeback and I got to witness three really good games in Oakland... and it feels good to be on the winning end of a Dusty Baker choke job for once... I just hope we can start winning some damn games at home Shift/enter key. Learn it, use it, love it. I prefer being lazy

  7. I'm loving this... anyone who hated on the four giants starting can suck it...
  8. Danny Ainge? I know he played with the Blue Jays for a couple seasons before he was in the NBA
  9. Nobody in such a short time has meant as much to the franchise as Andres...this article pretty much sums up my feelings about Andres...on top of that, he was the biggest class act... I'd be waiting around for autographs after the game, and while most of the guys would just blow us off not giving us the time of day, he would pull over just to chat with us, even if nobody had anything for him to sign...that being said, I'm okay with this trade... he was completely deadweight at the plate last year and I feel that what we saw was the real Torres....I've come to terms with the fact that the Giants aren't going to make any significant moves to improve the team, and I'll take any slight upgrade we can get to our offense considering how horrible it was last year, and Pagan is definitely a upgrade offensively and ok for a fourth outfielder...If we had a better offense, Torres would be perfectly fine for a defensive replacement, but with an offense like this he's useless...As for Ramirez, yeah he pitched well for us, but considering we have five better relievers (Wilson, Romo, Affeldt, Lopez, Casilla), it's not going to hurt us much, if at all...I feel like we could've gotten a little more for Ramirez, especially from a team like the Mets who had such a sh*tty bullpen last year, but whatever..
  10. Almost as sad as the post humously rewarding of Ron Santo induction into the Hall of Fame. Tim McCarver, an All-Star catcher who discovered a second career as a folksy announcer known for explaining the game in exacting detail, won the Hall of Fame’s Ford C. Frick Award for broadcasting excellence on Wednesday. Evidently baseball has run out of announcers to honor because next to Joe Morgan he has to be one of the worst in the game. Joe Morgan is Vin Scully in comparison... The award officially means nothing now
  11. so warped... Matt Moore over Ivan Nova...Yeah right... Moore's had 9 career major innings... Wait until he actually plays a full season before putting him ahead of someone who's had a decent season Matt Moore over Mat Latos... Really??? Felix Hernandez over Jeremy Helickson... this goes without saying, can't dispute it Matt Moore over Daniel Hudson... okay... whoever put this together must be getting their dick sucked by Matt Moore or something Felix Hernandez ver Tommy Hanson Felix Hernandez over Matt Moore... i'm surprised they didn't put Moore over Hernandez as well Michael Pineda over Madison Bumgarner... you take away his horrid April this year, and Bumgarner was arguably the best pitcher Neftali Feliz over Stephen Strasburg...agreed on this one for now, but how could you put Matt Moore over proven players based on potential but not Strasburg Clayton Kershaw over Neftali Feliz... hard to argue with this one Michael Pineda over Tommy Hanson- let's have Pineda repeat his year before putting him over Hanson Clayton Kershaw over Michael Pineda- definitely Elvis Andrus over Desmond Jennings- Andrus and his whopping .361 slugging percentage? no Eric Hosmer over Matt Wieters- eh I can give em that...right now Wieters is slightly better but Hosmer has a much higher ceiling Billy Butler over Elvis Andrus- agreed Eric Hosmer over Justin Upton- what a joke Eric Hosmer over Billy Butler same thing that goes for Wieters? Mike Stanton over Starlin Castro- yeah easily Buster Poser over Andrew McCutchen- agreed Mike Stanton over Pablo Sandoval- no... just no...stanton has a lot more power, but sandoval's a better all around hitter and great defensively Jay Bruce over Buster Posey- no...not until Bruce has his breakout season Mike Stanton over Jay Bruce- agreed Felix Hernandez over Clayton Kershaw- this is a close one... could go either way Mike Stanton over Eric Hosmer- agreed Mike Stanton over Felix Hernandez- no
  12. I can't believe how much they jacked up the prices... this is is the fifth straight wrestlemania i've bought tickets (only one i actually attended was 26 in phoenix, skipped out on 24 because my friend flaked out, skipped out on 25 for financial reasons, skipped out on 27 because i knew it would suck), and looking at the prices they really jacked them up... some have even f***ing doubled, the tickets I bought for WM25 in Houston were $175... now they're $450... I wound up getting the section 138...not too thrilled, slept in for the presale and tried for over an hour and this were the best seats that popped up...not a big deal...it's more about the experience than the actual show anyways...
  13. hahaha... first the niners coming back and beating the eagles and now the phillies losing (and being able to watch them lose in a bar filled with philly fans made it sweeter)....somehow i've developed a deep hatred for philadelphia sports teams so today was a perfect day.. oh and the unbeatable cliff lee... the so called great post-season pitcher... has now lost three straight post-season games... so yeah, so much for that bulls***
  14. they still won't be able to beat the giants...giants still own them mentally, and if anything, this is proof of it...
  15. Go NL... Unless it means the Phillies getting home field advantage...
