List of our top pitching prospects

Featured Replies

So as it stands, is this a proper list of our blue chippers, not necessarily in order of potential?

Anibal Sanchez, rhp

Yusmeiro Petit, rhp

Scott Olsen, lhp

Josh Johnson, rhp

Chris Volstad, rhp

Aaron Thompson, lhp

Taylor Tankersley, lhp

So our optimistic but still realistic hope is that 2 of these guys can replace Beckett and AJ and reform a big there with Dtrain. IMO, the pessimistic but still realistic hope is that we get one more ace from this group the way we got AJ from the group of pitchers we acquired after 1997.

Also, can someone tell me why our moves are being ridiculed by the press as signs that the Marlins always buy championships while the As and Beane were called prudent last year when they broke up the big three?
