January 23, 200620 yr I can only really comment on the ACC, and I would say that 5 teams sounds about right...at least right now. But I think you have to take out Miami and put in BC. No, BC has not beaten a ranked opponent. But they did just beat Miami at Miami. And they're 14-4, whereas Miami is 11-7. Oh, and the SEC doesn't deserve 5 teams. Probably neither Kentucky nor Arkansas deserves it at this time. 10 teams from the Big East would be amazing, but it's hard to argue with any of those you have listed. St. John's record doesn't impressive, but they just knocked off Louisville and Pitt back-to-back. Marquette's schedule is a joke, but they did beat UCONN. I don't think Marquette will make it in ultimately.

January 23, 200620 yr Kent State is hot baby...6 in a row in the M.A.C and in first wooohooooo..time to get back to the elite 8 like in 2002 (dreams) it's either going to be miami of Ohio or Kent State in the MAC. IMO

January 23, 200620 yr I dont know if Michigan or Iowa make it of the Big 10 then again, a win by Iowa vs IU this week would really help

January 23, 200620 yr Not necessarily. One of them is going to get screwed in seating The MAC West and East winner get the 1 and 2 seed and automatically go to the semis. The MAC West winner is most likely going to be NIU. So the favorites will prolly be the East and West winner because they have a nig advantage over everyone else.

At the risk of repeating myself, BC just beat Miami AT Miami this Saturday. In the long run, maybe that isn't a big deal. But if, in a hypothetical exercise such as this, you're choosing between the two at this point in time, I have to think that matters. Also, BC's worst loss is on the road against GTech. Other than that, they lost to 3 ranked teams (two on the road), and that's it. Miami has a little more to answer for...they have 3 losses that are on a par (or worse) with BC's loss at GTech. Miami lost at Air Force, Michigan, and Temple.
