Clemson-Furman

We lost 28-17, but we were the better team. They had 2 fluke TDs....one was a fumble recovery returned for a TD. The fumble was just Brian Bratton losing control of it. He didnt get hit or anything, he just fumbled it. The other was when Charlie Whitehurst (QB for Clemson) threw the ball, our DE Trap Jones batted the ball down, but the tackle for Clemson caught the ball and starting running...but then fumbled it, and a WR or RB or somethin for Clemson picked it up and ran it in for a score. Definitely fluke.

We outscored Clemson 10-0 in the 2nd half.

Definitely played a great game, and our D was great.

Should be a great season.
