  1. what team would you become a fan of?
  2. I'll probably become a Braves fan...especially with their new young players. And my ability to see a multitude of games in their stadium...
  3. So, if the Marlins move to LV or Portland or something, will you continue to be a fan? I honestly can't see myself rooting for a team in LV or Portland...so I would have to move on...tellin' it like it is

I don't see Das Texan being much of a challenge. Give me Mark! :mischief
  6. It's a good outing because he ate up innings. He went innings 4-6 without giving up a run. You can look at it from a distance and say "oh 4 ER in 6 IP. That's not a quality outing", but like many things in baseball and life, you have to look past the surface. He sucked up a bad first 3 innings, and brought it together to pitch 3 more innings of scoreless baseball. He saved the pen, struck out 14, and regained composure. He obviously didn't lose confidence, continued to attack batters, and wasn't rattled. Veteran start right there. A pitcher isn't going to have quality starts every outing, but he can still have good outings. By the way, I'm not worried about the pitch count.
  7. Wow. Idiots. The dude just struck out 14 Brewers. Selfishness? Riigghhhttt. He's really NOT trying to win the game, because Burnett thinks strikeouts are more important than wins right? Do yall think before you post? Honestly. You can't survive in this world without common sense. Maybe it'll come to you before you hit puberty. Burnett pitched a hell of a game considering he gave up 4 early runs. He went 6 IP and struck out 14. He could have thrown in the towel after the first 3 innings, but instead he decided to eat up innings for the team. He sucked it up, and pitched well for another 3 innings, thus saving the bullpen. In fact, it's a damn good thing he did eat up innings, because we had to go deep into the pen for this extra inning affair. Learn yourself some baseball. haha, horse crap? whatever....
  8. I'm not "back".... it's the occasional stop by.

  12. yes, because the Marlins message board is the first place to look when searching for ways to keep safe in case of a hurricane.
  13. because some of the best fly fishing is in Wyoming, Idaho, and Montana. Some of the best skiing is in Wyoming. College Station doesn't offer great skiing, fly fishing. I mean, anyone can go outdoors...I'm talking about going outdoors and getting away. I'd love to go. I've been to Breckenridge, CO and Park City, UT. A couple of my friends have been fishing guides in Montana for the summer.
