if the Marlins move....

Featured Replies

So, if the Marlins move to LV or Portland or something, will you continue to be a fan? I honestly can't see myself rooting for a team in LV or Portland...so I would have to move on...tellin' it like it is

Although I don't have anything against the D'Rays I just don't feel any affinity to them. I don't even like thinking about what it would be like if the Marlins left. It would be very strange if they changed the name because then what are you really rooting for? As Seinfeld said, we root for the laundry. If the name and logo are gone even the laundry is gone. I find it very confusing and I really don't know what I would do.

No.

I'll probably become a Braves fan...especially with their new young players. And my ability to see a multitude of games in their stadium...

I would stop following baseball period after all of the BS it has pulled down here. It wouldnt deserve my viewership.

i would root for the players but not the team....

i would just root for my old teams the Yankees and the Reds....

If the Marlins move, I could care less what happens to them. I'm a fan because they are my hometown team, period.

Its always been a dream of mine to take my firstborn son (whenever I do have kids) to a Marlins game, so that he can share in the experience that I was able to enjoy for most of my life. If they leave South Florida, I'll be the first to admit that I'd shed a few tears, but I probably will follow the team where ever they would end up.
