"April 1, 2006: Over the last few months, a string of movie games have saturated the Box Office, all with little success. Has no one learned from the under-whelming Bloodrayne movie?

Apparently not. In a recent interview, Uwe Boll has leaked information of a supposed "Mega Man" project. When asked about this, Uwe Boll shrugged us off with a "You'll see soon."

However, one week afterward, Mega Man-creator Keiji Inafune was quoted as saying that he "has no idea what that moron is talking about," and that he is "out of his mind." Actor Vin Deisel says otherwise, as he plans to also star in this movie. "Mega Man was a great part of my childhood," he said. "I can't wait to play the part of one of gaming's most popular characters." He plans to start filming next week, right after his fight with Chuck Norris.

Jack Thompson, long-time critic of violent video games, had this to say: "In all my, what, two-years of experience with games, I have never heard of something more horrible. This will corrupt our children's minds and teach them that shooting things is fun! This is unacceptable. Uwe Boll, ask yourself: What would Jesus do? WHAT WOULD JESUS DO?""

Weakest and most obvious April Fool's Day joke ever?

I submit yes.
