Daniels can play safety too

 

We have good depth and abilities out there. It looks like we have depth in both the cornerback and safety position. With the recent O-line additions I think we can go OLB first round now.

Mitchell CB - He is a very fast cornerback that showed wonderful ability and amazing make up speed. But is coming off of a serious injury and it will take a while to learn. He could be a good nickel or dime CB.

 

Travis Daniels CB could play FS as he is most likely our best hitter and tackler in the secondary either way

 

Will Allen CB shows good potential and coverage speed. He could become something solid with time, but has terrible hands

 

Will Poole CB - I personally see him as our best coverage man if he comes back to full abilities after the injuries. That of course is the key, what will he come when he comes back. If he does come back I expect him to start at CB.

 

Goodman DB - He has the ability to play safety or cornerback. It seems to be a theme with the versatility. I see him more of fighting for a nickel spot but he has good abilities.

 

Renaldo Hill DB - Another CB/S versatile player, he is a good coverage guy and hitter. Not a big risk taker for interceptions but he should compete for that FS spot.

 

Bell S - Another safety player from last year. Most likely will compete for the strong safety position. His weakness is once more interceptions.

 

Tillman S - some others are pretty big on this guy but I see him more as a backup role personally. He could end up a solid player for us though when we have the need. When he was in last year our secondary was playing much worse then when he was healthy. Still should compete for SS position.

 

Cooper S - Another player to add depth, he was 2002 NFL Europe Defensive player of the year. He could end up a solid player for us but really he is more depth.
