Is it possible to have TWO "favorite teams?"

Featured Replies

My buddy from Kansas said that he grew up a Royals fan during his childhood, but began to wonder why they always got beat, and didn't have the success of the Yankees. In the early '90's, upon learning that baseball did not have a salary cap, he decided to take sides with the Yankees's biggest rival, the Red Sox, in opposition to the Yankees's method of acquiring their success. $$$$ This evening, when asked who his favorite team in baseball was, he replied, "My favorite teams are the Royals and the Red Sox." I've been arguing with him for the past hour about how it is impossible to have TWO favorite teams. I personally think that he's breaking an unwritten rule of baseball. However, he thinks there's nothing wrong with having two favorite teams. We are looking for a third opinion on this to solve the dispute. PLEASE HELP!!!
