June 3, 200620 yr Anyone been to an IRL race? I'm thinking about buying tickets for the race in late June at Richmond Int'l Speedway. I bet it would be a blast to see these cars live - has anybody here ever done so? What did you think?
June 4, 200620 yr Yeah Ive been to two IRL races at Homestead Speedway here in South Dade. I thought they were awesome. It was a lot of fun. If I were you Id go for sure.
June 4, 200620 yr Author I'd like to go to Homestead-Miami one day. But man, the tickets are Richmond are like $30 bucks. I can't imagine seeing those cars on that track since I'm used to stock cars. I think I'll go. Thanks man!

June 5, 200620 yr I went to the Indy 500 in 1995. I was a kid, but I hated it. Driving around in circles for four hours doesn't appeal to me on any level. The only saving grace was the cool-ass museum in the infield. If the race was something where the tracks did anything other than just left turns, I'd be way more interested.
