On June 1st, a Chinook hit WFXL's 1,000 foot tall tower. Sadly there were fatalities on the Chinook. The helicopter and the WFXL tower were both total losses. The site was cleared of the helicopter and the tower was scheduled to be demolished using dynamite. Demolition Day came and down came the WFXL tower....it all looked good, but then the little extra came down with it. Here is the video.
