August 22, 200619 yr Tell me when has a driver ever had a win taken away from him for wrecking somebody on the final lap? And do you not think Nascar would be even more a joke if they did that. And outside of the Taledega yellow line incident which is debatable tell me another occasion in the past 5 years Jr has gotten preferential treatment from the officials. If he got preferential treatment why did he miss the chase last year? Why is he only 10th this year? If Nascar really gave him preferential treatment they would make sure he gets into the chase. Of course they are going to get more tv time because they are the drivers who bring in the ratings. If anything the preferential treatment comes from the media. You throw Nascar under the bus, but I want to hear how exactly Nascar gives the young guys preferential treatment and what exactly they do wrong.
