Realizing we're all a bit tense

Featured Replies

We've all had a great summer watching and debating the season, the players, the what ifs and the oh nos, let's all enjoy the next few games knowing this team has already given us more than we ever expected.

We've shared, some alot and others not so much, a frustration that the local media wasn't as accepting of the team as we'd like, but that's all behind us. It doesn't matter a rat's behind what anyone said or says anymore, our team is in the playoffs! The only thing that matters is play on the field from here on out.

Our team had the third best record in the National League while playing in the toughest division. No one handed them this. They did it the hard way, they went out and won games, games that mattered, and along the way they earned the respect of the league, for that matter all of baseball. We can't lose. We've already won.

This year didn't end with a list of what-ifs and second-guessings, it ended in victory. Nothing anyone in the media can say will ever take that away.

We have nothing to lose, whatever happens with the Giants it's been a heck of a year and regardless of the outcome its been a wonderful, magical experience.

So good luck Fish. And good luck to all of you.

Good point, but lets focus on winning too. This opportunity does not come along all that often and to just be happy with it is kind of sad. Lets take advantage of it - enjoy it, but win baby!
