Double Switch in the Eighth

Featured Replies

Double switch in the eighth was by the book. But, McKeon could have chosen Mordy or Fox instead of Lowell. If he was worried about Mike (and Mike's hand), he wouldn't have jeopardized him in that Marlins "win" situation.

I expect to see Mike starting the next game.

Surprised I didn't see any follow-up to Mike's statement that, after his last regular season start, his left hand felt "weak" after the sixth inning. Understandable... and I'm sure he is being watched closely. I think Mike will have the call on starting the next game and will tell Jack if his left hand starts to feel "weak" because he wants to be 100% for the World Series.
