When was the last Road Rules?

to be honest, I don't know .. it's been a while though (it was Road Rules Xtreme in 2004). I was wondering where it went too, and remember reading this on some popular blog:

So a little update on the Road Rules rumor mill. Back in March, BMP announced that Road Rules would be entering a redevelopment stage, along with some content of its other shows such as The Simple Life. In the same announcement, they promised an actual series from T.J. Lavin called T.J.'s Tips and Tricks and The Real Mean Girls starring Veronica (Semester At Sea) and Rachel (Campus Crawl).

So, fast forward to now, if you take a look at BMP's website, they're currently casting for The Real World 19 by holding open calls and accepting tapes. It seems that they're also moving forward with The Real Mean Girls Club. I'm also hearing that casting for the 19th season of The Real World may also be for Road Rules as well. Ever since its inception, Road Rules has been casted from the same applicant pool as The Real World. Although there's no mention of it on the casting site, it's not totally unheard of for them to do this. (ie. Several of the Fresh Meat challengers were finalists for Key West. Linette (Fresh Meat) is known to be one of them.) So, if Road Rules were to be in pre-production, now would be the time that BMP would be casting for it. So send in those tapes!

I loved the opposing shows on at the same time, Monday and Tuesday. I also liked the 'elimination' aspect of the more recent ones.

Yeah, The Challenge is moving to Thursday instead of Monday, but I think Real World is staying on Tuesday .. wiki says theres something about "Road Rules Asia" in 2007.

I never was a big Road Rules fan personally, but I definitely like the Challenge and Real World, probably in that order (The Challenge first)

Premiered last night ...

and if you know MTV, its probably playing every two hours.

Beth got knocked the f*** out

Edit: After seeing Real World: Denver Preview - that show looks like its got a lotttttttttttttt of drama.

Real World Denver preview looked uber commercialized to me. I thought it was some desarono(sp) ad at first.

The Duel looks to be interesting, I'll be watching.
